Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and experienced Media & Content Manager to lead our content strategy and production efforts, drive engagement and brand awareness, and elevate Bacardo's presence across digital and traditional media channels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a knack for creating compelling content, and a proven track record of managing media relations and content marketing initiatives in the cryptocurrency or fintech space.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Bacardo's media and content strategy, including planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content across digital and traditional media channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

• Manage Bacardo's content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery across multiple platforms, including website, blog, social media, email, and other digital channels.

• Lead content creation and production efforts, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop a wide range of content types, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and social media posts.

• Manage Bacardo's media relations efforts, building and maintaining relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure media coverage, interviews, and speaking opportunities.

• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, identifying opportunities and threats, and making recommendations to leadership to enhance Bacardo's media presence and reputation.

• Track and analyze content performance metrics and KPIs, measuring the effectiveness of content initiatives, optimizing content strategies and tactics, and providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in content marketing, media relations, and digital communications, and make recommendations to leadership to ensure Bacardo remains at the forefront of innovation and engagement.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, media relations, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing content strategies and managing media campaigns in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or related industries.

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling, and engaging content for various audiences and channels, including blog posts, articles, press releases, and social media posts.

• Experience managing media relations and working with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure media coverage, interviews, and speaking opportunities.

• Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content distribution platforms.

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and influencers.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for storytelling and a desire to push boundaries and drive innovation in content marketing and media relations.
